Email Notifications Are Not Being Sent

JetBackup 5 uses Notification Integrations to send Notifications based on the configured Alerts/Frequencies. If you are not receiving your Email Notification Integration Alerts, here are some common troubleshooting steps.

  1. Check that the Frequency is Enabled for either Real-Time/Once A Day.
  2. Check the JetBackup -> Alerts Page to see the Send Logs for any potential Errors.
  3. Check your server exim_mainlog for any errors.

One common error seen with Email Notifications are "SSL verify error: certificate name mismatch" errors. Here is a cPanel Resource that provides information on SSL errors: https://support.cpanel.net/hc/en-us/articles/360050811693-Exim-fails-to-receive-mail-with-error-SSL-verify-error-certificate-name-mismatch-
