How to Transfer a JetBackup License to a new server IP

To instantly change an IP address or reissue a license, please visit your Client Area at the following URL: https://billing.jetapps.com/clientarea.php?action=services
You can filter by status on the left side, or search by IP in the search bar on the right side.

Once you have located the correct service, select it.
To change IP, locate the License Details box containing the "License IP" field. Replace the value in this field with the desired IP, then select "Change IP". An alert will then appear confirming the results of the IP change.
To reissue the IP, simply select the "Reissue license" button.

After following the above steps you can verify license has been transferred by entering the IP for your license here.

Additionally, once transferred you can sync your license with our billing server by using the following commands:

Please try running the following command via SSH as the root user to resync your license:

Version 4+:

jetcli backup --license

Version 5+:

/usr/bin/jetbackup5 --license
